Hi, Audiologist here with a short explanation of how I create music for the games we work on. One technique I find useful for the quick production of music, is starting with Figure by Propellerhead. I use it on an iPad and here I can play around with a drum beat, bass line and a lead. Then I bounce out each track individually so I can edit it further. To get the tracks off the iPad I use iTunes and it is such a clunky process. iTunes started out as a great tool for playing and creating music but it has become so overloaded and confused. Anyway, once that’s done I load the tracks into Logic Pro 9.
